Wallet Card with an old MTA logo

The Metropolitan Transit Authority, which runs the Long Island Railroad, NYC Subway and Metro North Railroad, changed its logo from an M to the full MTA in a circle twenty years ago. However, on some older M3 railroad cars that date back to the 1980s, the old logo can still be seen peeking out behind the new one.
