Michael Jensen on baseball cards

Michael Jensen was the Cubs' 26th-round draft pick in 2011 and has risen quickly through the organization. In four seasons he is 20-11 with a 3.08 ERA. This year in 22 appearances at AA Tennessee he was 2-2 with a 2.23 ERA, striking out 29 batters in 32.1 innings. He kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.

"I would have to say when I was a kid I was a big collector of cards and I remember seeing a Randy Johnson rookie card for $5 and I was a fan of Randy Johnson for how hard he threw from the left side so I got it. Now he's in the Hall of Fame so that's pretty cool and I still have the card.

I would say one of my favorite cards is from this year when I played on the Tennessee Smokies.

I used to collect baseball cards when I was kid, but not so much anymore."
Thanks!
