Catcher Bengie Molina played thirteen seasons in the major leagues, mostly with the Angels and Giants. A two-time Gold Glove winner, he hit .274 with 144 HR and 711 RBI and won a World Series with the Angels in 2002. One of three brothers to have successful careers as major league catcher, he recently wrote the book Molina: The Story of the Father Who Raised an Unlikely Baseball Dynasty. He kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.
"My favorite card is my rookie card. I have no stories, just that I had a lot
of cards when I was a kid and I lost them when my town got flooded."
Thanks!
