Playing career: Greg Billo was the 28th round pick of the Royals in 2008. He is still in their system though in his first six seasons he did not progress above A ball – in fact it took him four seasons to get out of rookie league ball. In those six seasons he pitched in 89 games, going 23-25 with a 3.20 ERA.
Where he is now: This year he was promoted to AA Northwest Arkansas but is struggling, so far 0-2 with a 6.91 ERA in five games.
