It's been almost a month since I did one of these.
I still have 2024s coming in from TCDB trades. These three small-market rookies came from bearsbaseballcards.
Four 90s stars, highlighted by two great-looking cards of Sammy Sosa, from Jaysredlegs.
A variety of interesting cards from various OCBers this month as well. TJ Valacak sent some '83 and '84 football needs.
This card was by far the most interesting. This checklist was printed towards the end of Series 2 in 1969. However, O-Pee-Chee never made a third series! This was a checklist for a set that was never made! (I assume the person who filled out the checklist was acquiring Topps cards. They even got the Reggie rookie!
Gunny Musgrove sent two great-looking 1962 cards.
Dan Angland sent action-packed cards of arguably the two best non-QBs in the league in 1984. That card of LT flattening Joe Theismann is certainly prophetic.
Greg Conway sent some great 50's cards.
Wayne Delia sent a Dodgers' heavy PWE with 18 cards from the 1958 set!
I like all that yellow together, but other colors were well represented too.
Ken Goetsch sent these 1983 shiny All Stars. The best one is Fernando in his batting glove signing an autograph.
Finishing up with Dan Angland again. This time with 1982 in the form of football cards . . .
. . . and baseball stickers!
I like the thought of some kid way back when using an OPC checklist to track their Topps progress.
