I picked up this small lot of '61 Post cards that fell into my $0.25 a card limit on vintage. These Post cards were cut out all different ways but all of the important parts are there. These aren't necessarily legendary names, but it's cool to see how deep a set this was for an oddball release - 200 cards, at a time when there were only 16 teams in the league.

ReplyDeleteI remember when Davenport passed away a few years ago. The local sports radio stations did amazing tributes to him. He's definitely popular here in the San Francisco Bay Area.
