1986 Spokane Indians at the mall - Terry McDevitt

Infielder Terry McDevitt played in the Padres organization from 1986-1989, and for the Clearwater Phillies in 1990. In 351 minor league games he hit .222 with 2 HR, 85 RBI and 25 stolen bases. He is a retired construction tech teacher and coaches baseball at Glenwood Middle School in Chatham, IL. A fuller account of his career can be found at the baseball card blog The Greatest 21 Days.

This appears to have been Rizzuto's Shoe Store. There is still a Rizzuto's Shoe Store in Spokane but not in the mall. Naturalizer is a brand of woman's shoes that originated in 1927. It is now part of Caleres, a holding company of various shoe brands, and is primarily sold online rather than through stores.

  1. A baseball card showing Rizzuto's shoe store? Holy cow!

  2. At least he looks like he was happy to be there.
