I have one card of Jorge Alvarez, from 1991 Line Drive.
Playing career: Jorge Alvarez had an extraordinary playing
career in professional baseball. Between 1988 and 2010 he was a regular for
either an affiliated or an independent-league team. In 2010, as a 41-year-old,
he hit .319 with 4 HR and 44 RBI in 61 games for Shreveport-Bossier of the
American Association.
Where he is now: A hitting instructor at Elite BaseballAcademy in San Antonio.
My memories: Only know him from his card.
