I knocked off another of my '73 high number needs in a trade with Atljayhawk. I sent him some vintage Royals cards, and he sent me this fun lot.
Bob Barton is the high number. It's an airbrushed photo from when he was a Padre, you can see a Padres teammate behind him. He played in just three games for Cincinnati in 1973. Guidry and Koosman are my first two 1980 Burger King cards. I really like them - they have different photos from their base Topps cards of that year, and I like the old BK logo. Looks like pitcher Mike Griffin is doing an infield drill behind Gator. The '81 Coke cards are the same photos as their Topps cards, but I like accumulating "privilege sign" cards from Coke and Pepsi.

ReplyDeleteAs far as airbrushed hats go, Bob's didn't look too bad.
