Art on the back: 1973 Topps football

The cartoons in the '73 football set were not player-specific or even team specific,  just random NFL facts. Still, there are some fun ones, like this one. Imagine how far away 1978 sounded to a 10-year-old in 1973.

I don't have a lot of '73's, but was able to find some entertaining cartoons. Like these . . .

    I love the randomness of the Alan Page question, which basically is "Alan Page cooks stuff. What's the thing he cooks we're thinking of?"

    Remember when actually using a computer was an exotic thing?

    Although I own a handful of '73 Topps Buffalo Bills, I don't think I've ever looked at the backs. Time to check!

    I wonder if the computer that Dallas used way back when is preserved in a Cowboys museum somewhere. One whole room could just be that computer :)
