Noochie Varner loves baseball cards

Outfielder Noochie Varner played eight seasons of professional baseball, mostly in the Reds and Diamondbacks organizations. In 831 games he hit .299 with 53 HR and 417 RBI. Now the owner of the Noochie Varner Baseball & Softball Academy in Georgetown, KY, he replied to my questions about baseball cards with:

"Yea I love baseball cards in general."

    He's a man of few words. It would be nice if he gave some specifics though.
