Wallet Card at Ideal Hosiery

This may be the oldest sign for an active business in New York. Opened in 1930s, Ideal Hosiery put up this sign in the 1940s. Seven decades later, both the store and the sign remain, even though the rest of "Hosiery Row", as the area was once called, has long since disappeared.
