Outfielder Jonathan Fulton played five seasons in the Marlins organization. His best season was 2006, when he hit .262 with 12 HR and 43 RBI at Greensboro. He kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.
"The first card that I can remember was the Bowman.
The picture they took was after my first week or so in rookie ball. I
had never played in Florida and never wore sunscreen or sunglasses. If
you look closely I was squinting really bad and I was trying to cover up
all of the black blood blisters on my lower lip. That was a rough year but I got better at taking pictures as my career progressed."
Thanks!
