I have three cards of Terry Adams. This one is from 1997 Fleer.
Playing career: Terry Adams pitched for eleven seasons in the major leagues, winning 51 games and saving 42. In 2001 he allowed the fewest home runs per nine innings of any pitcher in the National League.
My memories: I remember being aware of him as a pretty good pitcher in the National League.
Where he is now: Doing private baseball instruction.
Interesting stories: Here is an interview I did with him last year in which he shared some great baseball card stories.
Google Autocomplete results: He is fourth when you type in Terry A, between Terry Anderson, the American held hostage by Lebanon in the 1980s, and Terry and the Pirates, a comic strip that ran from 1934 to 1973. The first links you get when you Google Terry Adams are not the baseball player but a BMX racer and a member of the band NRBQ.
Coming up next: The next profile will be Tommy Adams.
Not a real comment on Adams, but just to say I am enjoying this series.
