The card, in brief: Flynn looks like he's squeezing his arms together so he can fit in the frame.
Playing career, in brief: Infielder Doug Flynn played 11 years in the major leagues for the Reds, Mets, Rangers, Expos and Tigers. Renowned for his fielding, he won a Gold Glove in 1980. In 1,309 games he hit .238 with 7 HR and 284 RBI.
Post-playing career, in brief: Flynn is now a Banking Officer at Central Bank in Lexington, KY and an Ambassador for USACares. He shared his thoughts on baseball cards with this blog in 2017.
My collection: I have 26 of his cards, from 1976 to 1986. I would be interested in trading for 1982 Topps Traded #33.
