OBC welcome packages roundup

The generous welcome PWEs keep coming in from the OBC folks. I mailed some return envelopes out today, want to make sure I am giving as well as receiving. I've included links to these folks' want lists; you certainly don't have to be from OBC to trade with them.

This eclectic mix came from Bob D'Angelo. He is a former newspaper sports copy editor and is a regular contributor to Sports Collectors Daily. A couple of 50's cards plus a whole lot of early '70s high numbers!

This fun mix of late 50's/early 60's, highlighted by a Frank Robinson appearance, came from Jerry Straniero.

Some more high numbers, this time from the '65 set! These came from Larry Tipton, who has been with OBC since it began in 1991.

These two big names came from Steve Sankner.

Ed Fagan sent a fun mix highlighted by a '63 HR Leaders with Harmon Killebrew and Roger Maris.

Clifford Franklin sent these fabulous '59s, highlighted by Casey Stengel and Don Larsen.

Scott Jensen is on TCDB, and we worked out a nice little trade, with me receiving these great cards.

Then the next day I was surprise to see a second envelope from Scott! These seven '53s would have been more than generous all by themselves . . .

. . . but nestled in between some of those were three 1967s! Two high numbers which are very cool but how about my second vintage Willie Mays in a week! I can't imagine being in a position to just give Willie Mays cards away, yet a lot of these guys really are in a different world when it comes to vintage collecting; some have even completed an entire '52-'80 Topps run.
