Outfielder
Sloan Smith played five seasons in the Yankees organization. His best season was 1995, when he hit .260 with 13 HR and 64 RBI for Tampa. Overall in 470 games he hit .225 with 29 HR and 186 RBI. Now an account executive at Dryden First Mortgage Fund in San Francisco, he kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.
"My favorite one of myself was my draft card of me playing at
Northwestern. Ironic that it showed me pitching, and I was drafted as
an outfielder.
I don’t collect cards, but I did as a kid..."
Thanks!
