The front: Barlow looks wistful, maybe even sad. Looks like
Tiger Stadium.
The back: In addition to baseball, Barlow also starred in
basketball as a youth, earning a scholarship to Syracuse University.
The player: Barlow was a middle reliever for four teams over
seven seasons, going 10-6 with 6 saves and a 4.63 ERA in 133 games.
The man: Barlow was a youth baseball coach for many years
and is now retired.
My collection: I have three of his cards, from 1978 to 1981.

You've been posting a lot of 1981 Topps cards. Have you thought about creating a side blog for just this set? Night Owl and others have done this with various sets. Just a thought.
