Favorite player as a kid was Harmon Killebrew: Steinbach
grew up a Twins fan in Minnesota.
Most prized possession is his dog Simon: A 1997 Sports Illustrated profile of Steinbach details him hunting with Simon, a Brittany
spaniel.
Might have been a carpenter if he hadn’t been an athlete:
Steinbach did not go into carpentry after his baseball career.
Where he is now: Retired since being let go as Twins bench
coach after the 2014 season.
