1B-OF Kurt Bierek played ten seasons of professional baseball, mostly in the Yankees organization. His best season was 1999, when he hit .280 with 23 HR and 95 RBI for AAA Columbus. Overall in 1,098 minor league games he hit .261 with 127 HR and 605 RBI. Now Managing Member of MetroNet Consulting, he kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.
"I don't have any card stories and I don't collect cards. My favorite
card of mine is following the 1999 season with the Columbus Clippers
when I won the Internatuonal League Rookie-of-the-Year. I'm in a
Columbus road/away uniform taking a full swing."
Thanks!
