Walking down 38th street I was surprised to see what was apparently an authentic World's Fair sign from 1964 in a doorway.
The doorway leads to Hecht Sewing Machine and Motor, a 100-year old Garment District institution.
The owner is an antiques collector, and addition to the Worlds Fair sign many more antiques can be seen in the store's window.
