Player Profile: Mike Basso

I have three cards of Mike Basso. This one is from 1991 Line Drive.

Playing career: Catcher Mike Basso played nine seasons in the Padres organization, including parts of four seasons at AAA. His best season was 1987, when he hit .252 with 9 HR and 53 RBI at Charletson. A fuller account of his career can be found at The Greatest 21 Days.

Where he is now: Major League Scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

My memories: Only know him from his card.
